Amanda Gomes is currently with Kazan Ballet (Tatar State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre, named after Musa Jalil). She graduated from the Bolshoi Ballet School in Brazil. She joined the Tatar Musa Jalil Academic State Theatre of Opera and Ballet, as soloist, in 2014.
Mikhail Timaev s currently with Kazan Ballet (Tatar State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre, named after Musa Jalil). In 2005 he completed his studies at Kazan Ballet College (class of People’s artist of Tatarstan V.N.Bortyakov). While still a student he joined the Ballet Company of the Tatar Musa Jalil State Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet. Diploma-winner at the Arabesque International Competition of Ballet Dancers, in Perm (2008); winner of 3rd prize and bronze medal at the 11th International Competition of Ballet Dancers and choreographers in Moscow (2009); in May 2010 he was awarded a prize by the TÜRKSOY International Organization for the Development of Turkic Culture and Art. In 2012 he won the Soul of Dance prize in the Up and Coming Star nomination.
