Andrejs Žagars

Andrejs Žagars was a host at Big Ballet 2016 TV Show (Rus. Большой балет), shot 5.8.2015 in Mosfilm Studios, Moscow, where 14 dancers from 6 biggest musical theatres in Russia took part in the competition.

Andrejs Zagars was the Latvian National Opera director from 1996 to 2013, and is one of the most interesting talents among today’s stage directors. Under his leadership, the Latvian National Opera has developed into an internationally acclaimed company. The LNO took part in international opera festivals and toured to Taiwan, Hong Kong, Mexico and Beijing as well as throughout Europe.
