Anton Korsakov (Mariinsky Theatre) in The Young Lady and a Hooligan, music by Dmitry Shostakovich; choreography by Konstantin Boyarsky. Dance Open 2013, Savonlinna.

Anton Korsakov was born in Leningrad (St Petersburg). He graduated from the Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet in 1998 (class of Konstantin Shatilov) and joined the Mariinsky Ballet the same year. Anton is honoured Artist of Russia (2010). A survey by critics for Dancer of Europe magazine listed him as “Dancer of the Year” in 2005.
