Kateryna Shalkina is leading soloist with Béjart Ballet Lausanne. She was born in 1984 in Kiev, Ukraine, Kateryna Shalkina begins studying dance at the age of ten at the State Ballet School till she joins the Kiev Ballet in 2000 where she dances as a soloist roles. Following two years at the Ecole-Atelier Rudra Béjart Lausanne, she joins the Béjart Ballet Company Lausanne in 2003.
