Madina Basbaeva (Kaz. Мадина Басбаева) is a Prima Ballerina with Astana Opera Ballet. Madina was born in Almaty. In 2003 she graduated from A.V. Seleznev College of Choreography. From 2003 to 2013 she worked as a leading soloist of K. Baiseitova National Theatre of Opera and Ballet. Since 2013 she is a leading soloist of Astana Opera. Her teacher-repetiteur is Galiya Buribayeva. Madina Basbayeva is a guest soloist of Opera National de Bordeaux.

Yerkin Rakhmatullayev (also Erkin Rakhmatullayev) is currently a Leading Soloist with Astana Opera ballet company. He was born in Saryagash, South Kazakhstan. In 2011 he graduated from A.V. Seleznev College of Choreography. From 2012 to 2013 he was a coryphee of Konstantin Tachkin’s private ballet company. Since 2013 he is a soloist of Astana Opera.
