Maia Makhateli and Giorgi Potskhishvili (Dutch National Ballet) in the duet of Raymonda and Abd al-Rahman, music by Dmitry Glazunov, choreography by Rachel Beaujean after Marius Petipa. At the end of the second act of Raymonda, the young duchess Raymonda chooses the charming sheikh Abd al-Rahman over the knight Jean de Brienne, whom she was destined to marry. After her aunt and grandfather have given the young couple their blessing, Raymonda and her beloved Abd al-Rahman dance this enchanting pas de deux.
