Maia Makhateli and Young Gyu Choi in Raymonda. Music by Alexander Glazunov. Choreography by Marius Petipa. Ballet Icons Gala 2026, London Coliseum 15.2.2026.

Maia Makhateli and Young Gyu Choi excel in Raymonda due to their world-class technical precision and the seamless, aristocratic chemistry they bring to Petipa’s demanding academic choreography. Their performance elevates Glazunov’s lush, melodic score by balancing the required grandeur of the Grand Pas with effortless musicality and expressive storytelling.
