Maria Pogosyan (Rus Мария Погосян) was born in Leningrad (now St. Petersburg). From 1996 to 2003 she studied at the Kiev State Choreographic School (teacher Nina Kosenko). In 2003, she transferred to the Moscow State Academy of Choreography, which she graduated in 2004 (teacher Maria Ivanova).
In 2006-2012 was a soloist of the Moscow Academic Musical Theater. K.S. Stanislavsky and Vl.I. Nemirovich-Danchenko, where she rehearsed under the direction of Margarita Drozdova.
In 2012 she opened the ballet school “Antre” (for people of any age, the direction of training – body ballet, classical choreography, jazz, modern).
In 2013 she was accepted into the ballet troupe of the Bolshoi Theater where she rehearses under the direction of Svetlana Adyrkhayeva.
