Melissa Hamilton is a First Soloist of The Royal Ballet. She joined the Company in 2007 as an Artist and was promoted to First Artist in 2009, Soloist in 2010 and First Soloist in 2013. In the 2015/16 and 2016/17 Seasons she took a leave of absence from The Royal Ballet to dance with Semperoper Ballett, Dresden. Hamilton was born in Belfast and grew up in Dromore, County Down. She began dancing aged four and trained at the Jennifer Bullick School of Ballet. Aged 16 she trained at the Elmhurst School of Dance for two years and then privately with Masha Mukhamedov in Athens. She won the 2007 Youth American Grand Prix.

Roberto Bolle Ufficiale OMRI (born 1975 in Casale Monferrato) is an Italian danseur. He is currently a principal dancer with the American Ballet Theatre and a principal dancer étoile at La Scala Theatre Ballet. Bolle was born in Casale Monferrato, and lived during his youth in Trino, a small town near Vercelli in Piemonte. He began ballet studies at the age of seven at a local school and was accepted at the La Scala theatre ballet school in Milan at the age of twelve. In 1990, he was noted by Rudolf Nureyev. In 1996, following an appearance in Romeo and Juliet, twenty-year-old Bolle was promoted to principal dancer at La Scala. He left that position when he was 21 to pursue a freelance career. In June 2019, Roberto Bolle left the American Ballet Theatre. During the 2003-2004 season he was promoted to Étoile of La Scala Theatre.
