In 1999, the Critics Survey of Ballet International/Tanz Aktuell International awarded him the title of “outstanding dancer” for his creative work in the season of 1998/1999. In 1999, the choreographical work of Kask, “Ursula X”, reached the finals of Concours International de Choregraphie Classic in Paris.
Teet Kask has a Master of Arts Choreography from the City University London/Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. In his choreographic works Kask uses both the aesthetics of classical dance as well as modern expression and likes to flirt with a certain amount of experimentation. He has become a unique artist/choreographer/tutor synthesizing classical and contemporary dance.
